The world is changing; generations of sailors follow on, one from another, their expectations evolve. Our raison d'être is to constantly imagine, to stretch ourselves and make your dreams come true. Our profession is building boats. It was time to innovate. We formed a team, talked about lifestyle, sailing, anchoring, seaworthiness, interior space and materials; the first sketches followed, the Excess brand was born.
THE VISION
Putting to sea today is the culmination of new approaches, of other desires. We sought to create a brand with an assertive, qualitative personality, a signature that honors the codes of sailing. Excess embodies this new philosophy that is modern, innovative and dynamic. We have left behind old habits, avoided imposed figures. The design team has imagined boats with character, that are accomplished, balanced and racy.
THE SPIRIT
Choosing a catamaran should no longer be limited to seeking a compromise between comfort and sensations. We have rethought the entire sailing experience. The excellent view of the sails, the finesse offered by the twin aft helm stations, the rig, the hulls, the sharing of space, life on board, the materials, everything has been studied to adapt to the new ways of thinking about life on the water.
